Group meeting 4

We discussed what each member should have complete by the next lecture. I was decided that everyone needed to have their section modelled, this included lighting, textures, materials and any artefacts that were to be shown or outside of inside the building.

We decided that we will use the same doors and windows throughout. Richard had modelled the windows and Matthew had modelled the interior doors.

We were initially going to put everyone work together and create our animation from one file but due to the size and complexity of the combined files this was not plausible and not really necessary. Instead each member will animate their parts of the building and using various fade and cut effects after animating stitch the sequences together in premier pro.

Group meeing 3

We checked to see if our models fitted together as we have been working separately on them. After a few tweeks everything fitted together well.

We discussed that we should all use the same renderer (mental ray). We decided to use standard lighting. We came to the conclusion that we should do our animations separately and then edit them together in premier pro so that we can each blog our own work.

By the 18th of November:

Richard should have finished modeling and materials

Danny should have finished his modeling and materials

Matt should have finished his modeling and materials

After reciving the plans for the guild hall we realocated the rooms to each team member.
